Younger people with some disabilities, and people with end-stage renal disease can participate sometimes. However, it can be hard to find dentists who accept Medicare in South Jersey. Rapha Dental is proud to provide dental treatment covered by Medicare, and we are accepting new patients all the time.

Rapha Dental has dentists that accept Medicare. We accept several Medicare advantage dental plans. Medicare Advantage Plans, also called Part C. It combines Original Medicare Part A and Part B into one whole plan. These plans are offered via private insurance companies approved by government Medicare Program. Theses plans may also offer extra benefits not covered by Original Medicare, such as dental coverage. Rapha Dental accepts various Medicare Plans via Aetna, Cigna, Humana, NJ Clover and United Healthcare.

Does Medicare Cover Dental Implants?

Benefits of dental implants is that it permanently replace missing teeth. By replace missing teeth, you can prevent collapse of bite and preserve your dentition as a whole. There are a variety of plans available to help cover dental implants when you have Medicare Dental Coverage. And  you need to make sure you have a secondary form of coverage, such as a stand-alone dental plan to have this coverage.

Please note not all dental plans will cover the dental implants, so it is important to speak with our insurance coordinator to understand your coverage.

The best way to find out if your Medicare plan will cover dental implant is to submit pre authorization to your insurance company. After initial exam and x ray by Dr. Huh, we can submit those paperwork for you to find out exactly how much you will be responsible for.

Does Medicare cover tooth removal?

Original Medicare only covers a tooth removal if it’s considered medically necessary. However, Medicare Advantage plans that include routine dental coverage usually covers a tooth removal.
